Celebrity to run short Caribbean cruises
Celebrity Cruises is to run a series of short cruises in the Caribbean from winter 2009.
The premium line is to operate four- and five-night sailings on Celebrity Century, which underwent a $55 million refurbishment two years ago.
The vessel will sail a total of 29 short Western Caribbean itineraries from Miami between December 12, 2009 and April 22, 2010.
The 1,814-passenger ship will sail on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays on itineraries that will feature two ports of call, including Ocho Rios, Jamaica; Georgetown, Grand Cayman; Cozumel, Mexico and Key West.
