Celestyal Crystal suites get top-to-bottom refurb
Celestyal Crystal’s 43 junior balcony suites and 16 suites are to be completely refurbished this winter and will be ready in time for its spring 2019 cruises.
At the same time, a new suite concierge service will be introduced on both Crystal and on Celestyal Olympia, whose suites were refurbished two years ago.
"We are constantly upgrading our vessels to remain competitive and to provide our guests with the most modern and comfortable facilities," said CEO Chris Theophilide. "We are thrilled to be transforming the Celestyal Crystal’s Suite product with a new, contemporary look and feel to welcome even more premium guests this year."
The suite concierge will be available to serve meals in the suite or on the guest’s balcony, and deliver fresh ice. In addition, complimentary shoe shine service and pressing service are offered and the concierge will also handle special dietary requests and make arrangements and reservations for additional activities and services, such as private shore excursions, spa and beauty salon appointments. They will also assist with packing and organise post-cruise transport and activities.
"We are experiencing high suite demand from our UK guests who I’m sure will appreciate all we are doing to offer them a more competitive premium product. With the additional emphasis on our Greek roots through our cuisine offerings and onboard experiences, our guests will enjoy an authentic and expanded destination experiences that no other line sailing in the Aegean and Mediterranean can offer," added Andy Magowan vice president commercial – Europe.
