Cendant Travel Distribution Services CEO Gordon Wilson is to be guest speaker at this year’s World Travel Market ‘Captains of Industry’ lunch in London.

The lunch on the event’s opening day of November 14 is by invitation only in aid of water aid charity Just a Drop.

Wilson is to give a speech on A Vision of the Future before answering questions.

WTM group exhibition director Fiona Jeffrey said: “Given the significance of Cendant as a global player in which Gordon Wilson is responsible for travel distribution businesses in more than 100 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, this will be an extremely thought provoking and interesting speech.

“He is one of the world’s leading experts on the changing role of intermediaries and his participation at the Captains of Industry lunch will be one of the highlights of the first day.”

Wilson’s responsibilities include all Cendant’s business to business brands including Galileo, Gullivers Travel Associates, Trust International, Wizcom and Travel 2/Travel 4.
