Central heating and double glazing help Haven UK holidaymakers
Higher quality accommodation has been introduced by Haven at selected sites around the UK in time for the summer peak.
Private parking, double glazing, domestic central heating, extra living space and higher quality furnishing and fittings feature in the new range of ‘plantinum’ holiday homes.
The new homes, which start at £589 for seven nights, have been introduced at 12 of the operator’s 34 holiday parks – Devon Cliffs, Lakeland, Perran Sands, Presthaven, Rockley Park, Primrose Valley, Combe Haven, Hafan y Mor, Hopton, Allhallows, Doniford and Haggerston Castle.
Platinum represents the fourth tier of accommodation offered by the company after gold, silver and bronze.
Head of retail sales Allan Lambert said: “Holidaymakers are looking for luxury touches more and more these days – whether they are taking a break overseas or in the UK, quality accommodation is now an intrinsic part of their holiday experience.
“With more Brits holidaying at home than ever before and putting money back into the domestic tourism market, now is the time to invest this back into product to keep the customers coming back and thinking UK when they book a break.
“This boom in domestic tourism, combined with the increasing demand for touches of luxury, makes it the perfect time for Haven to roll out its new ‘platinum’ accommodation.”
