Changi celebrates with 40 million passengers
Singapore Changi Airport managed more than 40 million passenger movements in 2010.
Bouncing back from 2009, which saw passenger traffic drop to 37.2 million due to the global economic downturn, Changi Airport beat its previous record in 2008 with a registered 37.7 million passenger movements.
Changi Airport is now one of six airports in the world that handle more than 40 million international passenger movements annually.
Changi Airport Group (CAG) celebrated the 40-million milestone on Wednesday afternoon at an event which saw one passenger winning a 40-minute shopping spree sponsored by CAG at Changi’s Transit Malls.
