A visionary leader is required to join the Cook Islands Tourism Corporation as Chief Executive. Reporting to the board, you will be responsible for providing industry leadership in all aspects of Tourism development, and implement strategies with industry members and stakeholders in the promotion of the destination. This will include participation and development of regional and international initiatives with Government, Airlines, other National Tourism Offices and private sector partners. In order to achieve the desired results you must be a passionate leader who inspires and builds strong, effective relationships and has the ability to build trust and credibility. Having ten years senior management experience in an NTO or similar, you will be an engaging communicator, have strong reporting skills, a sound knowledge of government processes, solid financial management and highly developed negotitation skills. A relevant tertiary qualifications is also a pre-requisite. A three year contract based in Rarotonga along with a competitive remuneration package is on offer for the successful candidate.
