Children rescued from cruise yacht fire
More than 100 passengers were evacuated from a cruise yacht in Norfolk after a fire broke out. Naval Station Norfolk Fire Chief Tony Sickell said the fire probably started in the engine room.
All passengers were rescued safely, which included dozens of young children celebrating their kindergarten graduation.
The fire took several hours to extinguish. The Spirit of Norfolk cruise yacht only recently passed its annual inspection.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
