China Southern Airlines has launched special Business Class fares on its Canton Route to mark the arrival of its first Australian superjumbo in October.

On sale until the end of July, travellers will be able to fly return from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth to Europe with lie-flat Business Class lead-in fares from $5020 to Amsterdam, $5100 to Paris and $5300 to London.

The A380 Business Class sale also extends to Vancouver and Los Angeles with return fares from Australia starting from $5175 in Business Class.

The sale is valid for departure from October 27, 2013, until January 31, 2014.

As well as an A380 to Sydney from October, other fleet enhancements being rolled out across all China Southern’s Australian ports this year include new A330-200/300 airliners offering fully flat seats in Business and personal televisions throughout.

China Southern will begin operating an A380 between its southern Chinese hub Guangzhou and Sydney from October 27.
