Choice Hotels appoints Janis Cannon as SVP of upscale brands

Choice Hotels International has named Janis Cannon as senior vice president, upscale brands for the group.
 
Cannon will be responsible for growth of Cambria hotels & suites and the Ascend Hotel Collection.
 
Cambria hotels & suites is undergoing significant growth with a number of groundbreakings and openings in major markets such as Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington, DC and New York.
 
Cannon brings 25 years’ experience in the industry and joins Choice from IHG where she served as vice president and global brand leader for IHG’s luxury brand portfolio.
