Choice reward to mark global launch
SYDNEY – Choice Hotels Australasia (CHA) has launched a giveaway of half a million loyalty points to one member of its Choice Privileges rewards programme to celebrate the programme’s global launch.
Half a million points is equivalent to up to one month’s accommodation in one of CHA’s Comfort properties or up to 20 days in a top-end Clarion hotel.
New and existing Choice Privileges members who stay at any Choice hotel throughout Australasia between April 1 and June 30, 2009 will be eligible to win the major points prize – redeemable for member rewards including free room nights and gift vouchers.
The winner will be announced on July 20, 2009.
CHA managing director David Bayes said that extending the programme globally would pave the way for more than seven million Choice Privileges members worldwide to earn and redeem their loyalty points at Choice’s Australasian hotels.
“The global rollout of our Choice Privileges programme also enables our members in Australia and New Zealand to earn and redeem loyalty points for stays at more than 5800 Choice hotels, representing almost half a million rooms, at home and overseas,” Bayes said.
“Other benefits include tiered member levels from Basic through to Elite Diamond, and the ability for members to also earn and redeem points for food and beverage,†he added.
