CityJet CEO resigns
CityJet CEO Geoffrey O’Byrne White has tendered his resignation and will be leaving the company at the end of August.
Chairman Pat Byrne will act as interim CEO and Michael Collins, currently chief financial officer, has been appointed deputy CEO.
Byrne said: “The Board of CityJet and I wish to express our enormous appreciation for Geoffrey’s commitment and vision in leading the company through a period of such growth over the past 10 years.
“It is with a huge sense of sadness that we bid farewell to Geoffrey and we take this opportunity to wish him the every success with the next chapter of his business career.â€
During his time as CEO, O’Byrne White led the expansion of the London City network and the acquisition of VLM.
