Clearwater again voted top US beach
Visit St. Pete/Clearwater is touting another successful year at the 2019 TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice Awards.
Its two landmark beaches improved their standings with Clearwater Beach named the tbest beach in the US for a second consecutive year.
Clearwater also climbed the global rankings to grab the no.6 spot in the World’s Best Beaches.
Pristine sands, clear waters and the opportunity to spot dolphins were among the main the top reasons Clearwater was chosen.
St. Pete Beach also gained traction in the 2019 awards, jumping three places this year to become No.4 best beach in the US.
The best beach category assesses the quality and quantity of traveler reviews and ratings over the previous year.
Florida beaches dominated the list with seven entries in the top 10.
