Cleveland CVB changes brand name
Greater Cleveland’s Convention and Visitors Bureau is changing its name from Positively Cleveland to Destination Cleveland.
The CVB said the change takes effect immediately and the new moniker was chosen to better showcase Cleveland as a leisure and business travel destination.
"Our job, first and foremost, is to position Cleveland as an exciting, vibrant destination for people who travel here from around the world, and for those who live here, as well. Our new name, Destination Cleveland, perfectly describes our daily mission – and that’s to increase travel and tourism in Northeast Ohio.," said David Gilbert, president and CEO of Destination Cleveland.
The CVB had used the Positively Cleveland name since 2007.
It will continue using the website URL thisiscleveland.com and original handles on all social media channels Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Pinterest.
