CLIA LIVE education seminars resume
Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) is resuming its CLIA LIVE education series in Australasia for 2021 as the industry prepares for the post-pandemic era.
The series begins this week with a sold-out event in Brisbane on Tuesday and Wednesday before moving on to other major cities in Australia and New Zealand this year.
This year’s CLIA LIVE theme is focused on the guest experience.
Tickets are limited and selling fast for events on the Gold Coast on 21 and 22 April, and in Sydney on 28 and 29 April.
Additional events will be held this year in Auckland, Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth, with dates to be announced later.
CLIA LIVE is a two-day seminar program where representatives from the world’s cruise lines gather to share product knowledge and insights.
It is exclusive to CLIA members, and events are suitable for both new-to-cruise travel agents and seasoned cruise sellers.
Topics will look at the unique selling points of each cruise brand, latest technology and innovative experiences for guests, and guest experience in relation to dining, accommodation, on-board activities and entertainment.
The events will open with a brief overview of the new health protocols.
Attendees earn 30 CLIA points per day and tickets cost $50 +GST for CLIA members only.
