Club Med launches e-brochure
Club Med has launched its summer 2008 Collection brochure in an interactive e-brochure format, alongside its existing printed edition.
The operator says it has noticed an overall increase in travellers researching purchases online.
Guests browsing the digital e-books can flick electronically through the pages to zoom into pages for a closer look at the facilities at the resorts.
Head of Marketing UK Sarah Mason said: “The tourism industry is experiencing a phenomenal growth in online browsing and reservations.
“The Club Med website receives over 60,00 unique visitors per month and our research has found that over 20% of Club Med guests now book their travel experience online.
“Whilst we recognise that many of our customers like the ‘touch and feel’ of the printed brochure, we are confident that the new e-brochures will really bring the Club Med experience to life, for families and couples making their holiday choices online.”
