Club Med rolls out group incentives for spring
Club Med last week rolled out a Spring Into Summer promotion offering group incentives for travel partners booking its all-inclusive resorts in North America.
Travel agents booking a new group for three nights or more by May 31, 2013, receive 15% commission and a complimentary two-night stay for two.
Agents booking a group of 20-40 people also can choose a tour conductor ratio of 1/15, a $250 Amex Gift Card, or two additional free nights.
Groups of 41 to 75 receive two of the incentives; groups over 75 receive all three.
Travel professionals must ask for the incentive program at time of booking, and book through the USA Club Med Business department. Commission is valid on land portion only.
Groups must be booked by May 7, 2013, for travel between August 1 and October 31, 2013. Sandpiper Bay black out dates of August 30-September 2, 2013.
Club Med also announced the hiring of Jacqueline Manuel as its new business development manager for the meeting, incentive, and corporate event markets.
Manuel will manage relationships with corporations, associations, meeting planners, and incentive houses for the eastern half of the United States.
Jacqueline has more than 15 years experience at Hilton, Westin, Noble House and Crown Plaza. He joins Gloria Paladini, who holds the same position for the western half of the country.
