Club Med has unveiled details of a new luxury resort opening in Sicily for summer 2018.

On sale from July 19, the all-inclusive Club Med Cefalu is part of Club Med’s Exclusive Collection.

It is situated on the northern coast of the island in a quaint traditional fishing village.

Guests will receive a personalised welcome at the airport along with a private transfer and champagne on arrival.

Champagne is also served daily at 6pm and buggies can also be hired, at no extra cost, to help guests get around the resort.

Restaurants will include Palazzo Gourmet Lounge with an a la carte menu designed and created by renowned chef Andrea Berton.

The resort will have a sailing club and paddle board academy and will also offer electric surf boarding, yoga, snorkelling, tennis, and two pools.

Club Med is promising the resort will ‘take accommodation to the next level’.
