Co-op launches its New Year ad campaign
Co-operative Travel has launched its annual TV ad campaign and is offering January bookers money-off coupons in Co-op food stores.
The adverts, which are on radio from 9 January, are set in a Co-operative travel high street agency and promote the advice and expertise offered by their agents.
The agency chain, which is part of The Co-operative Travel and Thomas Cook Venture, has revealed its list of top destinations for 2012 to encourage bookings.
Turkey comes top followed by France, Spain, Cyprus and Florida.
Thomas Cook launched its post-Christmas advertising campaign on Boxing Day and its TV campaign on 31 December also offering £400 savings, see previous story.
Last month the operator announced a pre-tax loss of £398m at its year-end results and admitted looking to grow its online business to between 40-50% which could see the closure of further high street retailers.
