Co-operative Travel staff help find new recruits

Saturday, 13 Sep, 2010 0

The Co-operative Travel’s employee referral programme, introduced to staff less than four months ago, is already reaping benefits with 13 new starters in the retail branch network.

Employees who nominate successful recruits receive up to £300 of Co-operative Travel vouchers.

Recruitment Manager Paula Turner said:  “Whilst we are only just getting started with this scheme we have got off to a fantastic start.

"We have had a lot of recommendations and we’ve acted on all of them, with more than half of those put forward having already been offered jobs.

"We’ve recruited some excellent people with the skills and commitment to take the business forward, and we’ll be rewarding our own loyal employees for their referrals.”
