Colin O’Neill to set up new business after leaving Advantage
Advantage Travel Centre’s long-serving business development director Colin O’Neill is planning to open a café in his home town when he leaves the association next year.
O’Neill, who announced earlier this week he will leave Advantage early next year, hopes to set up the eatery in Cambridge
He said: "After 16 years of travelling two hours each way a day, it is time to cash in my season ticket.
"My goal is to start up a business with my wife outside of travel, ideally opening a café in Cambridge together, but it may take a little while to come off."
O’Neill, was appointed to his current role in 2013, looking after member business development, PR, events and central staff training and development.
He will leave in February following a handover to the executive team.
