Colombo next for AirAsia
KUALA LUMPUR – AirAsia will launch direct daily flights between Colombo and Kuala Lumpur from August 15.
Promotional all-in fares must be booked by June 14.
AirAsia regional head of commercial, Kathleen Tan, said the airline’s entry into Sri Lanka was good timing “as the country enters a new era of peaceâ€.
She said there was strong, pent-up demand for the route.
AirAsia will use Airbus A320 aircraft on the route.
