Combining Spain and Morocco
Greece and Mediterranean Travel Centre has built on its range of Mediterranean tour options during 2007, with one of the new programs introduced this year, a 12 day combination tour of Spain and Morocco.
The combination is logical, because for hundreds of years the Moors ruled Spain and left their mark throughout the country.
This tour includes the highlights of Spain and its Moorish influence and takes passengers to Morocco which is one of the most scenically and culturally varied countries in North Africa.
The first 4 days of the tour are set in Spain including Madrid, the magnificent town of Cordoba with its wonderful mixture of Christian, Islamic and Jewish houses of worship and the exciting port city of Seville.
On the fourth day the tour crosses the Straights of Gibraltar from Europe to Africa and the beginning of the Moroccan adventure.
In Morocco the tour includes Fez, Tangier, Casablanca, Marrakesh and Morocco’s capital city Rabat. The magnificent markets in all these fabled cities have a dizzying mixture of colours and aromas from the spices, dyed garments and and stunning items of potter, metalwork and glasswear.
Morocco is a mixture of Arabic, Berber and European culture music and dance, Experience the desert and the snow capped Atlas Mountains.

Australians are increasingly attracted to the combined attractions of Spain and Morocco and this tour incorporates the highlights of both countries from $1,981 pp twin share.
