Complete Cruise to turn off viewdata access

Thursday, 25 Sep, 2008 0

Travel agents will no longer be able to make bookings through the viewdata system for P&O Cruises, Princess Cruises, Ocean Village and Cunard from September 30.

Instead, they will have to switch over to a dedicated website for these Complete Cruise Solution brands.

Complete Cruise Solution head of sales Mark Pilkington said: “There has been a dramatic decline in the number of bookings made via the viewdata system in recent years and we believe that it is of greatest benefit to agents for us to focus our time and effort on providing the best in-house, online booking system in the industry.

“We have been communicating this change and successfully supporting agents in switching to our online system throughout this year.”

The site will allow agents to view and modify bookings, request copies of booking confirmation, change bed configuration, dining sitting, table size and cabin number, amend address and contact details, and cancel bookings.

Bookings can also continue to be made on the Amadeus Cruise system.

A dedicated online helpdesk is available Monday to Friday, 08:30-8:00 and Saturday 09:00 -17:00. Telephone 0845 355 3 055 or email [email protected].
