Concorde unveils new website

Concorde International has unveiled a smart new website, with more time-saving features and attractions for Australia’s travel agents.

In addition to a cleaner look and greater functionality, Concorde has introduced to its site a monthly incentive feature for agents, engaging a range of preferred airline partners, each offering attractive prizes.

“Travel agents have told us they want easier access to vital information, to reduce the time spent searching for and booking fares,” said Concorde’s Managing Director, Mr Russell Carstensen.

“We have responded with a range of shortcuts and hints designed to reduce the look-and-book time without diluting the quality of information,” he said.

“We are also working more closely with our preferred airline partners, and will use the new site to offer incentives ranging from fuel and shopping vouchers to electronic prizes to attract greater interest from travel agents, and to generate greater results for our airline partners.”

To assist agents searching for multiple fares with customers, Concorde’s

SmartFares database now retains all quotes found during that session, in case agents want to recheck earlier quotes.

Within the Concorde SmartFares database, agents can now obtain destination or airline codes simply by clicking the “?” button.

There are new links to RedHot, Concorde’s list of the best three fares each week, as well as to the Daily Hotline, which delivers a complete and up to date listing of fare updates and new releases.

Effective immediately, travel agents can also change their contact details online, replacing the previous method of e-mailing new contact data. And for added security, Concorde now requires agents to change their site passwords at least every four months.
