Conference to offer national networking event for tourism
One of the highlights at the upcoming ENTER 2014 Conference in Dublin will be the Irish E-Tourism Day that will take place on January 22.
With a focus on Irish tourism activities, the day will form a national networking event for tourism and hospitality stakeholders in Ireland.
The conference, is organised by the International Federation for Information Technology and Travel and Tourism.
It is aimed at engaging the Irish e-tourism community through discussions about topics that are of particular interest to the Irish tourism and hospitality industry.
Experts will present current trends in e-Commerce, smart technologies and e-Marketing and outline examples of successful implementations from the Irish tourism industry.
The Irish E-Tourism Day will be chaired by Patrick Horan from the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) and Ciaran Doherty from Tourism Ireland.
IFITT president Dimitrios Buhalis said: "The national E-Tourism day at the ENTER conference has always received much attention by the local tourism industry. The Irish Day will be an opportunity for Irish tourism practitioners to actively network with other tourism and technology stakeholders from the country and to find collaboration opportunities."
ENTER 2014 will take place from January 21-24 in the Chartered Accountants House in Dublin, Ireland. Registrations for the Irish E-Tourism Day only or for the whole conference can be made at: http://www.enter2014.org/Registration-64.htm.
