Award winning finalists announced for Travel Blogger Awards

The opportunity to connect with and hear from more than 60 of the world’s best travel bloggers with a global audience of more than 20 million is available in Sri Lanka this summer at the Cinnamon Travel Bloggers Conference-TBC Asia along with the inaugural Cinnamon travel blogger awards.

Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts in partnership with the Professional Travel Bloggers Association (PTBA) and SriLankan airlines initiated Cinnamon TBCasia in 2014.

The PTBA was founded  to help to develop and connect the world’s best bloggers and the inaugural conference in Sri Lanka facilitated vast opportunities for bloggers around the world.

The 2016 TBCAsia conference at Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts will provide the opportunity for the travel industry to network with the world’s top bloggers over four days prior to the conference.

Cinnamon TBCasia is the only travel bloggers conference around the world to have 4 day pre-conference tour for all hosted bloggers. New for 2016 is the inaugural Cinnamon Travel Blogger Awards which will recognize the best of the best of the world’s top travel  bloggers

Dileep Mudadeniya, head of brand marketing at Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts said: "Cinnamon TBC Asia is an incredible opportunity for anyone involved in digital content creation and global marketing to connect with some of the world’s most influential bloggers, but also to hear from leading speakers on issues and opportunities in blogging. We know that one of the issues facing many businesses is how to find and identify the right bloggers to work with. Cinnamon TBC Asia will provide them with the ability to meet and network with some of the world’s best bloggers."

Cinnamon TBC Asia 2016 will be held in Colombo on 7 June. There are also five night, six day pre-conference tours from 2 to 6 June which will enable delegates and sponsors to connect with and understand the blogging community.

An incredible shortlist of blogger finalists has been announced. Laurence Norah of Finding The Universe blog and PTBA president said: "Independently judged awards like the Cinnamon Travel Blogger Awards, which rely on quality of entry rather than popular vote, are a fantastic way for a blogger to gain industry wide recognition and visibility for the hard work they put into their blogs.
