Convention industry introduces hassle-free planning tool

Saturday, 02 Aug, 2005 0

The Convention Industry Council (CIC) released APEX OfficeReady for Meeting and Event Planning, which it called the industry standard to relieve any planning hassles.

APEX is designed to interface with the Microsoft Office suite of software programs, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

The program provides event organizers with a neatly packaged set of ready-made, highly customized tools to help increase productivity, promote a professional image and implement APEX accepted practices.

“First, it helps event organizers lead the industry in the implementation of accepted practices developed by APEX,” said Jull Finnell Jones, vice president of CIC, adding:

“It also gives customers an incredibly functional product that takes the hassle out of planning events and offers a great value.”

“Simply put, it places easy-to-use APEX templates into the hands of users,” said the council.
