Corporate Traveller makes new appointment
David Richardson has been appointed head of account management at specialist SME travel management company Corporate Traveller.
He brings six years experience in corporate sales to the role having joined sister company FCm Travel Solutions in 2004 as a business development manager rising to London team leader in 2008 and London area leader in January 2010.
In his new position, Richardson will focus on strengthening client relations to ensure account retention, as well as growing new business within existing client portfolios.
He also plans to recruit an additional six account management staff by January 2011, bringing the team to a total of 12.
“We are also looking to introduce other parts of our parent company Flight Centre’s business to Corporate Traveller clients in order to grow additional revenue," said Richardson.
"For example additional MICE business via CiEvents; Travel Club membership, which enables client’s employees to benefit from special holiday deals, and Employment Office, a specialist recruitment marketing organisation.”
