Corporations turning to agents to save employee’s time
Here’s another reason corporations are turning to travel agents: They don’t want to pay employees for the time spent online researching trips.
“The biggest increase in sales among local travel agencies is coming from corporate clients who find that complicated travel itineraries are best carried out by travel agents,” wrote The Tribune in Portland.
Some local travel agencies are reporting an upsurge in activity, the newspaper said.
That’s particularly the case in corporate travel, it added.
