Cosmos Great Options………………

Leading tour operator Cosmos has just released its 2008 North America brochure, featuring more than 35 exciting holiday options covering the length and breadth of the USA and Canada.

With tour packages available from as little as $117 a day, and six exciting new tours on offer, Cosmos continues to deliver on its reputation for providing great holidays at a great price.

The new program includes a first for Cosmos – exceptional six-day mini-breaks providing travellers with an easy way to relax and see some of the most famous destinations in America.

Options include six-days absorbing the sights and sophistication of New York and Philadelphia, from just $1299 per person, including first-class accommodation, sight seeing in both cities, tour transportation in a private deluxe motorcoach and the services of a professional tour director.

Or travellers wanting to explore the country’s stunning desert plains can take a six-day mini-break visiting legendary Las Vegas, the world-famous Grand Canyon and nearby Laughlin on the picturesque Colorado River. Priced from $889 per person, this break includes accommodation, tour transportation in a private deluxe motorcoach and a tour director.

Meanwhile holidaymakers wanting to spend some time soaking up the delights of the US will appreciate Cosmos’ new eight-day ‘Taste of San Francisco and Napa Valley’ tour.

Priced from $1529 per person this holiday gives travellers the chance to experience the charm of one of America’s most beautiful cities, San Francisco, before taking their tastebuds north for a tantalising tour of the stunning Napa Valley wine district.

Other new tours include a nine-day Heart of the Canadian Rockies holiday, priced from $1529 per person, which provides the perfect way to take in diverse scenery of Canada. This tour starts in the famous cattle ranch town of Calgary and heads west via the breathtaking sights of Lake Louise and Jasper National Park to the beautiful English-influenced Victoria, on Vancouver Island, before visiting Vancouver.

Or those wanting to see North America’s many highlights can opt for the ultimate 22-day trans-American adventure, travelling from New York to Los Angeles via spectacular locations such as Niagara Falls, Mt Rushmore and the Grand Canyon. Prices for this tour start from $3269 per person.

The pioneer of low-cost travel packages, Cosmos has created holidays that combine the “must-see” sights of the US and Canada with significant free time.

“Cosmos is all about great holidays and great value, with our fares including quality accommodation, comfortable transportation on modern coaches, experienced tour guides and a selection of meals,” said Cosmos National Marketing Manager Fiona Watson.

“In fact a whole day of touring with Cosmos generally costs what you’d pay for just your hotel if you planned your trip privately.”
