Cosmos Tourama cuts summer rates
Prices for Cosmos Tourama holidays have been cut by as much as £170 in Europe across the summer.
The price-led offers have been introduced following renegotiations with suppliers and by taking advantage of new tactical offers from airlines and hoteliers, the operator said.
Rates have been reduced on tours and cruises in Europe, the US, Canada and worldwide for selected departures between April and November.
Head of product David Binns said: “It has never been a better time to work with our suppliers to obtain the reductions needed to lower our prices.
“Everyone is well aware that in order to achieve sales in the current climate we need to work together to be able to offer the best possible value holidays.
“With our longstanding relationships with suppliers worldwide, we have been well placed to secure rate reductions and coupled with offers secured from our airline partners, we feel we are offering customers the best value for money holidays in the marketplace.”
Savings of up to £170 per person are available on selected European departures from May to September.
A seven-night ‘Lakes & Mountains of Switzerland’ tour is reduced from the brochure price of £789 to £619.
A 14-night ‘National Parks & Canyon Country’ trip to the US is cut to £1,115 from a brochure price of £1,265.
A 12-night ‘Canadian Rockies’ itinerary is now leads in at £1,695, a saving of £250 per person.
Other itineraries which have been significantly discounted include a 13-night ‘Wonders of China & the Yangtze’ with savings of up to £100 per person.
Half price premium brand ‘Platinum Tourer’ upgrades are also offered on eight European itineraries, two in the US and one in Canada offering additional savings of up to £147 per person, according to the company.
