Costa offers new web service
Passengers can personalise their cruise before boarding the ship thanks to a new service or “virtual assistant” offered by Costa Cruises via its website: –
Designed for those who have already booked, it allows passengers to book excursions and onboard services such as treatments at the spa or evenings in the alternative restaurant.
They can also buy Costa branded products, select wines, order flowers or have champagne and chocolates delivered to their cabins.
“Our objective is to transform the Costa portal into an increasingly interactive tool that will allow our guests to begin to enjoy their cruise even before they depart,” explains Daniele Mancini, Costa’s Corporate eBusiness Director.
“The virtual assistant can be used to enjoy the vacation in advance as a unique and special experience thanks to an exciting and dynamic graphic interface.”
The new service is available in six languages – Italian, English, French, German, Spanish and Brazilian – and active in all 24 company sites. It was developed utilising modern technologies along with today’s movie-making dubbing systems and scenes were shot both on board the ship and in a recording studio.
Travel agents can book Costa Cruises through CruiseAgents on 1300 55 88 64 or online at http://www.cruiseagents.travel/
