Costa Rica to require vaccine proof for hotels, museums
Travelers are required to present proof of vaccination at many businesses in Costa Rica starting next year. A QR code or a printed certificate is necessary for hotels, casinos, bars, various tourism facilities and museums, starting January 8, tourism organization Essential Costa Rica said.
Travelers are also required to fill a Health Pass within 72 hours of arrival in Costa Rica. Vaccination proof is mandated for all over 12s although essential businesses like pharmacies and grocery stores are exempt.
Starting on the same date, all arrivals are then required to be fully vaccinated, the government just announced.
