Couple abandoned their baby at check-in
A couple abandoned their own baby at check-in after being ordered to buy an infant ticket.
Arriving late and with no ticket for the infant, they ditched their child and ran straight for the departure gate.
Their actions shocked Ryanair staff at Tel Aviv International Airport.
The unidentified couple were detained by security.
They were flying to Brussels.
They were questioned by police and later reunited with their child.
“The couple left the baby and ran towards the boarding gate for the flight,” the Israeli Airport Authority said.
