Cox & Kings heads for Jordan

Cox & Kings has teamed up with English garden designer Paul Hervey-Brookes to offer a 10-day botanical tour of Jordan.

Departing April 18 2013, clients will identify some of Jordan’s 2500 plant species in the Dibeen Forest, learn about Bedouin medicinal plants at the Dana Biosphere Reserve, discover the desert flora of Wadi Rum and visit the t Royal Botanic Garden under the expert guidance of Hervey-Brookes.

Hervey-Brookes has won numerous awards including a gold medal at this year’s Hampton Court Palace Flower Show for his ‘Discover Jordan Garden’.

The small group journey also explores Jordan’s archaeology including the city of Petra, the ruins of Iraq al Amir and the desert castles of Qasr Amra and Qasr Kharana.

From $3212 per person twin share, the tour starts and ends in Amman and includes accommodation with daily breakfast, two dinners, air-conditioned transport, transfers, entrance fees for sights on the itinerary and services of an English-speaking tour manager/local guides.
