CP Holidays arrives with catalogue
All product in wholesaler CP Holidays’ first TakeOff Asia catalogue carries 12% commission, except for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines cruises at 10%.
The catalogue carries RCCL’ Singapore-Hong Kong and Shanghai-Shanghai cruises, CP Holidays packages and accommodation in Vietnam, Japan, China, Thailand, Borneo, Macau, Malaysia and Singapore as well as Cathay Pacific Holidays product in Hong Kong.
It is the first printed product presented by Orient Express Travel Group’s new wholesale division and marks the entry of CP Holidays as a wholesaler.
The 8-page catalogue was created specifically for OETG’s Select Travel network, which now has 180 member agents around Australia.
OETG Product Development Manager, Denise Dodd said the catalogue was the next step in the Select brand taking a more prominent position in the consumer market.
“With this catalogue, Select agents now have collateral for consumers which carry great fares and exceptional rates,” she said. “Our commitment to Select agents is also represented by our commissions.”
The catalogue promotes an introductory 15% discount on travel insurance for bookings and deposits made with Select Travel.
A featured product is the 10-day personalised China Experience package priced from $1,845 per person twin share, land only. This tour includes Shanghai, Xian and Beijing.
Almost all listed hotels are 4 or 5 star.
As a diversified travel company, Orient Express Travel Group is also a consolidator (Express Ticketing and Express Fares for The Select Travel Group and other travel agent networks), a retailer (AST student travel brand) and a corporate travel management company (Orient Express Travel Corporate, which includes MICE services).
