Creative Holidays brochure a cornerstone of business
In a media dinner last week, the head of Creative Holidays’ Australia operation Justin Montgomery stressed that not only was the Creative Holidays 2009 brochure the cornerstone of their business moving forward, it was also the biggest they had produced, and also the first that had seen the businesses of the Travel Corporation working together.
Justin and colleague Andrew Yell, GM Product, Sales and Marketing for Creative confirmed that the greatly expanded brochure featured eight river cruising itineraries from Uniworld and for the first time hotel product from Red Carnations Hotels, with the 2009 product offering having virtually ever product covered, having earlier admitted that previously their offering might have lacked depth.
Andrew said, “Europe and the UK are still the top destinations for Australian travellers and each year Creative carefully evaluates its product offering based on feedback from travellers and consultants to guide the programme choices.â€
He added, “We are currently seeing a broader cross section of markets travelling to Europe and the UK, led by predominantly middle aged travellers and baby boomers, independent travellers, repeat visitors and families.†“Based on these trends, tour brochure offers a comprehensive selection of accommodation, sightseeing and travel arrangements.â€
Andrew also recommended that agents should look at the early bird deals on Uniworld river cruises [which the Mole went on in August and they are fantastic] and Alamo car hire, in addition to London hotels and apartments offering reduced rates of stay for seven nights or more, great for families and business travellers.
