Creative Holidays launch single Queensland program making selling easier for trade

Saturday, 24 Jan, 2007 0

Creative Holidays’ new 2007/2008 Queensland brochure has been launched and for the first time combines the Gold Coast, Whitsundays, Queensland Islands and the Tropical North. It’s one complete holiday book for Queensland.

Andrew Yell, GM product, sales and marketing said, “One Queensland brochure makes combining destinations easier and gives agents our extensive range of Queensland products in one clear program.

“An increase in product range across all areas and budgets, an easy to read brochure layout and the inclusion of top tips is another way we are working to make consultants’ jobs a lot easier.

“The Whitsundays and Queensland Islands continue to be favourite destinations for couples and families. We attribute this continued increase in interest for domestic travel to great value romance and family packages available for the Queensland Islands in our programs.

“After a fragile start to the year for the Tropical North, areas like Palm Cove and Port Douglas have come back stronger than ever – new five-star properties such as the Sea Temple Port Douglas and Pepper Beach Club which have really rejuvenated interest in the area. We are offering great packages to the Pepper Beach Club with three-night packages priced from $413 per person with complimentary return airport transfers.

“There is lots of potential for agents to make money selling domestically and we recommend up-selling room categories wherever possible. Many hotels now offer “club experiences” which are great value for money with added inclusions like daily breakfast. The other must-do is ensuring that whatever the destination suggest add-on optionals such as the theme parks on the Gold Coast, and reef trips in TNQ and the Whitsundays. These are all must-experience activities for the areas and agents can increase their commission by pre-selling, and travellers will appreciate the advice and tips.

Creative Holidays’ Queensland brochure provides a comprehensive information source and research tool to help travellers plan their holiday and features destination information supplied by Lonely Planet including temperature charts, area maps, travel facts, destination highlights and much more throughout.

Creative Holidays’ great deals are available exclusively through travel agents. See www.creativeholidays.com for more information.
