Croatia – Tourism Development Seminars – November 2004

Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce supported by UK Trade and Investment are organising a Tourism Development Mission to Croatia in November 2004. A group of specialist companies will be recruited to speak on particular topics at two tourism development seminars in Zagreb and Split. Croatia wishes to develop their tourism sector in their Regions and the planned accession to the EU is expected to result in projects into this sector via national or local projects. The topics to be presented have been identified by our Embassy in Zagreb and include: · Destination Management · Branding · Visitors Centres · Museums-Cultural Tourism · Modern Usage of Historic Buildings · Development and Protection of Cultural Tourism · Cross Border Co-operation in Tourism Activities · Hospitality Training · Rural Tourism (Walking Holidays) · EU Funds Interested companies should contact Wavell Magor, MBE, by the end of August 2004, [email protected] or tel 0131 334 0520
