CRUISE: Agents offered incentives to push cruise sales
Agents are being offered incentives to sell cabins as cruise sales move slowly.
Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises have launched new campaigns for February with new perks for agents and customers.
Royal Caribbean International’s ‘Going, Going, Gone’ campaign features 3,000 14-night cruises at £999 per person, and 1,000 six to eight night cruises at £599 per person, on selected sailings departing from Southampton.
Agents will get a £20 Lifestyle voucher for every 2013 booking made in February on Royal Caribbean cruises sailing from Southampton or Celebrity Eclipse sailings departing from the UK.
For any cruise booking made before the 28 February 2013 with Royal Caribbean, agents will be entered into a daily prize draw to win one of five £100 Love to Shop vouchers.
The Celebrity Cruises’ ‘123 Go!’ campaign allows guests to choose from one of three big offers – free drinks, free coach transfer or car parking in Southampton or money to spend on board.
This offer is valid on all 2013 Celebrity Eclipse sailings departing from Southampton, in all stateroom categories, and ends on 28 February 2013.
Trade marketing packs featuring campaign details are available online and are being distributed to agents.
