What’s new in the fast-growing cruise line business?
One development: new and enhanced Caribbean itineraries.
Other trends identified by the Cruise Line International Association:
- More sailings to the deep Caribbean from New York City.
- More positioning of ships than ever before in anticipation of a hot season in Europe.
- More itineraries available in all shapes and sizes, ranging from seven to 28 days and longer.
- More cruises offered in remote, lesser-known ports as far north as the Arctic Circle.
- More offerings of exclusive resorts in the Eastern and Western Mediterranean.
- New sailings to the world’s southernmost destination, Antarctica.
