Cruise specialist launches free app
Cambridge-based specialist cruise agent, Ponder’s Travel, has launched a free app for its customers.
The app has a quote facility, for calculating the cost and details of proposed trips, and shares details of offers, upgrades, events and competitions.
It also has a comprehensive database of cruise lines, cruises and destination information.
The company opened a new retail outlet in Over, near Cambridge, three months ago.
Founder Clare Dudley said the technology would work well alongside its `high street’ presence.
"I still maintain that nothing beats ‘face to face’ contact and opening our new retail store has been a fantastic success, but modern technology enables our clients to take Ponder’s home with them. So we’re always there when clients need information about cruise lines, itineraries, cabins, onboard facilities and, of course, our complete, independent, impartial advice."
The new Ponder’s Travel App is available from Google Play and the Apple App Store, and by scanning the barcoded link.
