Cruiseline returns to Japan
Costa Cruises will resume sailings to Japan for the first time since the earthquake and tsunami in March.
A four-day cruise leaving Shanghai on August 26 will call at Fukuoka in Japan as well as Cheju in South Korea before returning to Shanghai.
Costa said the decision to resume sailings to Japan demonstrated its confidence in the country's tourism market and its support of the local tourism industry. It has been operating cruises from China to Japan for more than five years.
From August to October, Costa Classica will operate a total of 12 cruises to Japan, calling at Nagasaki and Kagoshima as well as Fukuoka.
