CruiseOne opens 1,000th franchise
Home-based travel franchise CruiseOne has announced a milestone with the opening of its 1,000th location.
The World Travel Holdings-backed consortium announced the news at the annual International Franchise Expo and will mark the occasion by awarding $1,000 to a randomly selected existing franchisee and a respective customer, and additionally four staff members will each receive $250.
The company will also donate $1,000 to the Make-A-Wish charity fund.
"It is an exciting time to be in the travel industry and we are thrilled to have reached the 1,000th franchise milestone," said Debbie Fiorino, senior vice president of CruiseOne.
"While our system continues to grow, we are dedicated to maintaining a low staff to franchisee ratio to ensure we are providing a personal and high-quality level of service that benefits franchisee’s business development," added Tim Courtney, vice president of franchise development at CruiseOne, citing this as a key reason for its high retention rate among franchise owners.
The company says it has a presence in 50 US states and Mexico and has an annual growth rate of about 10%.
