Crystal adds destinations for 2007 world cruise
Premium cruise line Crystal Cruises 2007 world cruise includes the Rio Carnival, African safaris, Antartica and a return to Israel for the first time since 1999.
The 109-day voyage from Miami to Southampton departs on January 12, 2007 featuring 44 ports in 27 countries on five continents.
The 68,000-ton vessel Crystal Serenity will call for the first time in Coquimbo, Chile; Maputo, Mozambique and Gabes, Tunisia.
The cruise is offered in seven segments with departures from Miami; Valparaiso, Chile; Buenos Aires; Cape Town; Dubai; Istanbul and Civitavecchia (Rome). Prices are due to be announced on November 10 when reservations open for the trip.
The itinerary sees 1,080-passenger Serenity pass through the Panama Canal before circumnavigating South America, rounding Cape Horn to Rio de Janeiro for the 2007 carnival. The ship then crosses the Atlantic for three days in Cape Town before visiting the Seychelles and on to Dubai for three days.
The voyage then visits Oman, Egypt, Jordan and Israel before transiting the Suez Canal for Greece, Turkey, Tunisia, Italy, Spain, Morocco, Portugal and France before arriving in Southampton.

Each year our goal is to create the luxury cruise of a lifetime.”
