Crystal Cruises has expanded its physical presence in Asia Pacific with the opening of a new corporate office in Sydney.

Crystal’s 11-strong team will service reservations, sales, marketing and finance across the region and hope to cement closer relationships with the travel trade partners.

"Having a corporate run dedicated marketing and sales presence in Sydney is instrumental in supporting our trade partners from Australia and New Zealand," said Edie Rodriguez, Crystal’s Chairman, CEO and president.

"Given the great amount of holidays that travellers in the Pacific region get to utilise for vacation, we look forward to showcasing Crystal’s diverse portfolio of travel, lifestyle and hospitality experience."

The office is led by experienced cruise and travel professional Karen Christensen, as senior vice president and managing director for Australia and New Zealand.
