Crystal Cruises will introduce two new Black Sea voyages this year, calling for the first time to Sevastopol in the Ukraine.

The 12-day cruises from Venice to Istanbul on July 19 and August 24 on Crystal Serenity will also take in Greece and Bulgaria.

Senior vice president, sales and marketing  Bill Smith said: “The Black Sea cruises are an exotic counterpart to the more familiar Mediterranean hot spots. These destinations have a mysterious charm and tremendous historic value that places them high on travellers’ lists of must-see places."

The itinerary includes a visit to Greece’s Katakolon, the birthplace of the Olympics, and Navplion; Nesebur in Bulgaria; Yalta and Odessa in the Ukraine and a cruise through the Dardanelles and the Bosphorus Starits.
