Crystal raises N. American ski capacity
Crystal Ski is expanding flight options to the US and Canada next winter from Heathrow.
The operator will offer seats on five British Airways flights a week to Denver and Calgary, up from two; and will have more seats on twice weekly flights to Vancouver.
These flights, which are on sale, will operate from December 16 until April 13, 2008 as the final inbound.
Prices start at £299 (per person based on four sharing) for seven nights’ room only in the three- star Bow View Lodge in Banff, departing January 15. Rates for a week to Colorado start at £349 and from £399 to Whistler, Canada.
Marketing and product director Gareth Crump said: “These extra seats add much needed capacity for ski resorts in North America which will allow us to fulfil the huge demand we are currently experiencing fuelled by record-breaking amounts of snow in some of those regions last season and the weak dollar.”
