Crystal Yacht Cruises has named Helen Panagos as vice president of marketing and sales for the newly-formed brand.

Panagos will lead all marketing and sales initiatives for Crystal’s first brand extension.

The cruise line announced a major expansion recently which begins with the launch of Crystal Esprit, a 62-guest luxury yacht which sets sail for the first time on December 23, 2015 in the Seychelles.

Based in Crystal’s new Miami branch office, Panagos reports to Carmen Roig, senior vice president of marketing and sales.

She was mostly recently the director of global product development at Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, where she led the global tour operations team.

“Helen has spent over 30 years in the cruise industry and has a great propensity for all areas of the business, making her the perfect fit to lead the very first phase in Crystal’s growing portfolio,” said Edie Rodriguez, CEO of Crystal Cruises.

“I am delighted to have a talented individual in this critical and important role in building the evolving Crystal experience.”
