Culture Trip poaches Booking’s global recruitment director
Travel and media start up Culture Trip has hired Booking.com’s former global director of recruitment Karen Kesner as its new chief people officer.
Kesner (left) has also previously worked for Microsoft, Washington Mutual, Apple and Audible.
In addition to Kesner, Culture Trip has made a further six appointments in its London, New York and Tel Aviv offices including Faye Towers from Graze.com, Gemma Jones from Deliveroo, Erika Harris from Google, Dipo Osho from ASOS and Sarah Nepomuceno from the England and Wales Cricket Board, who will all work in Culture Trip’s ‘people’ team.
It has also appointed Sharon Artsi, who has eight years of experience with start ups, as HR director.
Founder and CEO Kris Naudts said: "Culture Trip has grown exponentially since I founded the business and people are at the core of both who we are and what we do.
It is a hugely significant milestone for us to attract the level of talent embodied in Karen Kesner and this new People Team. I’m delighted with the appointments and I look forward to working with each of the People team to champion an ongoing culture of innovation and to attract, develop, and retain world-class talent."
